#ClubeDePetroleo membership consists of most of the Africa’s foremost publicly traded, private, and state-owned oil and gas companies. Our Members also include industry associations and upstream service companies.
Together, we are the global voice of our industry, pioneering excellence in safe, efficient, and sustainable energy supply – an enabling partner for a low carbon future.
Our work is supported by sound science and data and we publish dozens of updated guidance documents regularlly. These are available in our library. Our most popular publications are the Life Saving Rules, Process Safety Fundamentals, Safety, Health & Environment Performance Indicators, and Sustainability Reporting Guidance.
We have the largest collection of safety and environment performance data in the oil and gas industry which allows benchmarking for performance improvement. We also manage Joint Industry Projects, for example JIP33 – Standardizing Procurement Specifications, which has now produced 55 specifications aiming to make our supply chain better, faster and cheaper.
Any company in the upstream oil and gas value chain is welcome to apply for Clube De Petroleo membership. We have three categories of membership:
Operators – private, public or state-owned.
Service Companies other corporate bodies and national institutions that provide oil- and/or gas-field services to companies that qualify for full ClubeDePetroleo membership.
national, regional, or international – that already have on their roster at least two ClubeDePetroleo company members and are directly concerned with exploration and/or production.
Membership is also open to any association – national, regional or international – that already has on its roster at least two ClubeDePetroleo members and is directly concerned with exploration and/or production.
Associate membership is open to companies, other corporate bodies, and national institutions that provide oil- and/or gas-field services to companies that qualify for full ClubeDePetroleo membership.
